Dr Scott Speirs

scott-speirs-300x247Dr Scott Speirs graduated from the University of Melbourne with his Bachelor of Dental Science. He is the owner of Swansea Dental Practice and a principal at Advance Family Dental. Dr Speirs grew up in Victoria, but has been part of the local community since 1997. Dr Speirs has a particular interest in orthodontics, in which he has extensive additional training. In addition, he has advanced skills in endodontics (root canal treatment), paediatric dentistry and oral surgery.

Dr Speirs has always been interested in healthcare and in caring for others, but particularly likes the mechanics and intricate designs required to restore and create healthy smiles. Outside of dentistry, his interests include sports and music. He is a father of three and enjoys talking to other patients with children.

The local community is important to Dr Speirs, and his dental practice dedicates a day every six months or so towards treating disadvantaged people living locally. The practice also supports World Vision and sponsors a child.

Dr Arjun Jeganathan

arjun-300x247Dr Arjun Jeganathan graduated from the University of Adelaide with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He grew up in Sri Lanka but has lived in the local community since 1988. Dr Jeganathan’s interests include prosthodontics and implantology, followed by paediatric dentistry, periodontics, and treating people with jaw joint disorders (TMJ problems).

Dr Jeganathan derives a great deal of pleasure from seeing patients smile once more, and believes good health can increase a person’s overall happiness. Dr Jeganathan’s interests include fitness and fishing, and he has two children.

Dr James Michael El-Khoury

Dr James Michael El-Khoury graduated from the University of Sydney with his Bachelor of Dentistry and has lived in the local community since 2013. Dr El-Khoury is a General Dentist and takes a holistic approach towards treating patients, believing it is important to consider a patients overall health rather than just addressing any dental problems.

Dr El-Khoury has been involved in a number of humanitarian projects within the field of dentistry, and most recently spent time in Laos providing dental care to the under-privileged. He has also been involved with other charities including the Red Blood appeal, the Red Cross Door Knock appeal and Meals on Wheels in Sydney.

When not practising dentistry, Dr El-Khoury likes to keep fit and enjoys sports. He also loves to talk about football and cricket and would like to travel more. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
