Correct discolouration and chips with our pearl-white veneers in Swansea.
Veneers are a versatile way to improve the overall appearance of your teeth and can be made from porcelain or composite resin. Porcelain veneers are more resistant to staining and will last slightly longer than composite resin veneers, but composite veneers may require less tooth preparation prior to fitting and are easier to repair. Dental veneers consist of wafer thin pieces of tooth coloured materials that fit exactly over the front surfaces of teeth and which are bonded onto the teeth. They can be useful for correcting a number of different problems which include:
- Lightening the colour of teeth and making the colour uniform across the smile
- Hiding chips or cracks in teeth
- Lengthening teeth that are worn down or too short
- Closing up or minimising spaces in between teeth
- Improving the appearance of teeth that are slightly misshapen or rotated
- Correcting teeth that are slightly out of alignment
- Hiding the colour of badly stained teeth which do not respond to tooth whitening
